Overview
Secure Home Supplies is a commercial security equipment supplier. Because the access control, surveillance, alarm, networking, and power products we sell are often specified for a particular project — and many are special-order or configured to a customer’s requirements — returns are handled on a case-by-case basis through a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). This page explains how to request a return and what to expect.
Returns by RMA Request
If you need to return a product, please contact us first to request an RMA. Do not ship any item back to us without an authorization, and please do not return products directly to the manufacturer. Returns sent without a valid RMA may not be accepted.
To be considered for a return, items should generally be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging with all included accessories and documentation. We will review each request and confirm whether the item is eligible, along with any applicable terms, before you send anything back.
How to Request an RMA
Email us at info@securehomesupplies.com with the following details and our team will respond with next steps:
- Your order number and the date of purchase
- The product(s) you wish to return
- The reason for the return
- Whether the item is unopened, opened, or defective
Special-Order and Configured Equipment
Some products are ordered in specifically for a project, built to a configuration, or licensed to a site. These special-order and configured items may be non-returnable or subject to manufacturer terms. We will let you know at the time of your RMA request whether an item falls into this category.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If an item arrives defective, damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered, contact us at info@securehomesupplies.com as soon as possible — ideally within a few days of delivery — with your order number and a description (photos help). We will work with you to arrange a replacement, repair, or manufacturer warranty claim as appropriate.
Refunds
Once an authorized return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to the original method of payment. Any applicable restocking, shipping, or manufacturer charges will be confirmed with you during the RMA process before the return is finalized.
