Gigabit PoE+ extender that adds another 100m of cable run — used when the camera is beyond the 100m Cat6 limit from the PoE switch.
Deployment context
Outdoor cameras at long cable distances (200-300m total run), parking-lot perimeter cameras, gatehouse-to-NVR links, warehouse-spanning installations where pulling fiber isn’t practical.
Port count & PoE budget
1× PoE+ input + 1× PoE+ output (passes through 30W). No PoE generation — extends an existing PoE+ feed. Single-port pass-through; cascade-able to 3 extenders for ~400m total reach.
VLAN & management capabilities
Transparent layer-1/2 device — passes VLAN tags, multicast, and management frames unchanged.
Surveillance infrastructure implications
Critical for perimeter cameras beyond 100m from the access switch. Confirms PoE+ class to the camera; useful where conduit/fiber pull is cost-prohibitive.
Thermal / rack / power considerations
IP30 enclosure (interior). -40°C to +75°C operating range — suitable for outdoor enclosure deployments. Passively cooled. ~3W idle.
