Deployment context
Larger access deployments where a single power supply feeds 4-8 doors. Mounted alongside the access supply in the same cabinet or adjacent enclosure.
Load characteristics & current behavior
Each of 8 outputs PTC-protected, accepts up to 1.4A continuous. Field-selectable 12V or 24V per output (or split if needed for mixed maglock + strike loads).
Failure & backup behavior
PTC fault isolation — one door short doesn’t affect the others. LED per output shows live/tripped state at a glance during troubleshooting. No remote reporting (visual only).
UL / safety standards
UL294, CSA. Listed for access control output distribution.
Runtime considerations
Not applicable (passive distribution). Runtime is determined by the upstream supply + battery.
