Deployment context

Standalone perimeter camera poles, parking-lot light-pole cameras, isolated gatehouses, gate intercom locations, fence-line cameras far from the building MDF.

Load characteristics & current behavior

1-port PoE+ 802.3at output (30W). Internal AC-to-PoE conversion. Built-in 8kV surge suppression on AC, RJ45 network, and PoE output cable.

Failure & backup behavior

Surge suppression sacrificially absorbs lightning-induced transients — replaceable cartridges. Field-replaceable PoE module. Internal heater (optional) for sub-zero deployment.

UL / safety standards

UL listed (UL60950), IP66/NEMA 4 weatherproof, CSA. ULB suffix indicates battery backup option.

Runtime considerations

AC-mains operation. Optional internal SLA battery for 1-4 hour bridge runtime depending on PoE load. Solar/DC input variants available.
