PowerG wireless repeater — extends PowerG range across large commercial buildings, multi-floor installs, or sites with metal/concrete obstructions degrading the panel’s primary RF coverage.
Deployment context
Large commercial sites (>20,000 sq ft single-story), multi-floor buildings, sites with metal-frame walls or thick concrete that absorbs 915MHz. Add one repeater per ~5,000-10,000 sq ft expansion. Cascade up to 4 repeaters for the largest deployments.
Zones, inputs & wiring architecture
Not applicable. Adds range to existing PowerG zone capacity.
Communicator & monitoring compatibility
Not applicable. Forwards encrypted wireless device traffic between detectors and the panel.
False alarm & reliability positioning
Maintains the same 4-minute supervised polling profile that detectors use direct to the panel. Repeater itself is supervised — missed-poll triggers central station notification. AES-128 encrypted relay (no decrypt-re-encrypt at the repeater).
