Deployment context
Any DSC PowerSeries Neo install where the panel’s onboard 8 zones aren’t enough. Multi-floor commercial, perimeter-heavy warehouses, multi-zone retail with separate alarm groupings, sites with high detector density.
Zones, inputs & wiring architecture
8 hardwired zones, each independently configurable EOL/DEOL/TEOL. Bus-connected (Corbus) to the panel — no central-side cabling. Auto-addressable. Up to 15 modules per panel for 120 expansion zones.
Communicator & monitoring compatibility
Not applicable (zone expander). Forwards detector events to the panel via supervised Corbus.
False alarm & reliability positioning
EOL supervision per zone detects shorts, opens, and cable cuts independently from alarm activation. Tamper-protected (DEOL) zones report sabotage even when the zone is unarmed.
UL / commercial compliance
UL294 (access integration), UL1610 (when used in central station burglary system), ULC-S304 commercial burglary.
