Online double-conversion UPS — utility power is fully reconstructed to clean sine-wave AC continuously, not just during outages. The procurement-default for NVR + switch racks where brownouts cause as many failures as full outages.

Surveillance head-end racks, security ops rooms, dispatch centers, mid-tier data closets. Online topology mandatory for sites where utility power is unreliable (frequent sags, harmonic distortion, or generator-bridged failover environments).

Load characteristics & current behavior

1500VA / 1500W rated. Pure sine-wave output. ~95% efficiency in normal mode. Battery transfer time effectively zero (output is always sourced from inverter).

Failure & backup behavior

Online topology eliminates the 4-8ms transfer-time gap that line-interactive UPS units have. Handles brownouts (~80V sustained) without battery use. Bypass mode for service without dropping the load.
